Cannonball Ireland supercars coming to Mullingar

This year’s Cannonball Ireland passes through Mullingar on Sunday September 10.

The three-day event starts on Friday September 8 at 10am from the 3 Arena in Dublin, and approximately 200 supercars will drive through Ireland, finishing at Kilkenny Castle on Sunday around 6.30pm.

Cannonball Ireland is an organised road trip (not a race) and each year, an Irish charity benefits from it – this year it is Make-A-Wish.

Cannonball Ireland has grown from strength to strength and its now in its ninth year. The cars take a different route each time.

The convoy is due to pass through Mullingar at lunchtime on Sunday, and if you want to get a close look at the cars, go to the Mullingar Park Hotel as they are due to stop there for lunch at 1 pm.

After lunch, the cars will parade through the town. There will be more than colourful vehicles on show as the Canonball participants have a penchant for dressing up!
