Award for Mullingar man's firm
A young Mullingar entrepreneur’s business has been accredited with an All-Star for a rising star business at the All Ireland Business Summit in Croke Park.
Social Media Elite owed by Conor Cochrane had to go through an intensive four-round judging process including a proposal, client checks, phone interviews and live judging before receiving the award.
Thousands of businesses applied with only the very few and the best in Ireland receiving an All Star recognition.
Based in Mullingar employing six people, the company recently won ‘Best Digital Campaign’ in Ireland for the second year in a row and was a runner up in the Westmeath Enterprise Awards.
Conor is the guest speaker at a free Local Enterprise Office Westmeath lunchtime seminar for small businesses on the Benefits of Trading Online, in the Mullingar Park Hotel on May 8 (12.30-2pm ).
A representative from the LEO Westmeath will also be discussing grants and other supports available to small businesses to help boost online trading presence.
