Moore power to him - Mullingar impressionist joins American broadcasting giant

Popular Mullingar impressionist Conor Moore has just announced that he has a new gig with the American broadcasting giant NBC.

Conor, who is best known on this side of the Atlantic for his impressions of GAA and soccer figures, revealed on his Facebook page yesterday that he is now creating content for NBC's Golf Channel and is “excited to see what lies ahead”.

Conor began making videos two years ago in his back garden and quickly made a name for himself with his impressions of high profile sporting figures such as Joe Brolly, Jose Mourinho and Rory McIlroy receiving millions of views on Youtube. His profile increased even more last year when he started making sketches for Joe.ie and Joe.co.uk.

In his post announcing his new role with NBC, he stated that it is a “massive honour to be partnering with such a prestigious company” and thanked everyone who had helped him over the last two years. 

“Been such an enjoyable two years and I have to thank all my friends and family for the help and support when I started out! The @joe.ie &a @joe_co_uk family for an unforgettable 2017 which taught me many things and helped me develop and reach new levels! And a big thank you, most of all, to all of you who have supported the page and my work these past couple of years! Thank you!”
