Mullingar man dies after collapsing at Tayto Park
The owners of Tayto Park have extended their sympathies to the loved ones of a Mullingar man who died at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown yesterday after collapsing during a visit to the popular theme park located outside Ashbourne.
It is believed that the man, who was in his 50s, was attended to by on-site EMTs before being transferred to Connolly Hospital.
Tayto Park issued a statement to the Westmeath Examiner this afternoon:
"The Coyle family, management and staff of Tayto Park are saddened by the death of a man at Connolly Hospital yesterday, who suddenly collapsed during a visit to Tayto Park. We extend our deepest sympathies to his family and friends. We would also like to commend the very professional and prompt actions taken by our own on-site EMTs and the compassion of the medically trained Tayto Park visitors who came forward to assist."
