New housing developments planned for Kinnegad, Castlepollard and Moate

Planning permission has been sought for new housing developments in Kinnegad, Castlepollard and Moate.

Sean O'Hagan has sought planning permission for the construction of 24 apartments in Kinnegad. The application includes details for the development of 12 two bed apartments and 12 three bed duplex apartments at a site on the Mullingar Road. The application also includes details for a new entrance, car parking, bin storage and bicycle storage. The decision due date for the application is October 11.

In Castlepollard, planning permission has been sought for the construction of six three bed townhouses. The application submitted by Angela Masterson includes details for the development of the six townhouses and a new entrance onto the public road from the Water Street site. The decision due date for the application is October 11.

Planning permission has also been sought for eight new houses in Moate. According to the application made by Gardata Ltd, if given the green light the development at Weavers Row will consist of three terraced two bed bungalows, two three bed two storey dwellings (terraced), one terraced two bed dwelling and two three bed semi-detached dwellings. The application also includes details for the demolition of the existing semi-detached cottage on the site. The decision due date for the application is October 9.
