Investec win Chamber Garda Cup Golf Classic

The Mullingar Chamber held their annual Chamber Garda Cup Golf Classic on Friday August 24 at the Mullingar Golf Club. The event was well supported by local businesses who enjoyed a fantastic day of golf and networking.

The competition teed off with a shotgun start at 1pm and was closely fought, with the teams securing fantastic scores.

The team representing Investec Wealth and Investment were the winning team and took home the coveted Garda Chamber Cup. (Continues below photo.)

Catherine Killeen, events manager, said: “Congratulations to Joe Hanrahan and his team from Investec Wealth and Investment on winning the event with their superb score of 96. 

“We were delighted to see the team take the first prize as they have long been great supporters of the golf classic.

“Congratulations also to all our placing teams. Thank you to all the teams who joined us at the event. 

“We are also grateful to Stephens Cooke and Associates and Blackhall Financial Services for sponsoring the event.

“Thanks also to all the local businesses who sponsored tees along with spot prizes and helped out with the event in many different ways. 

“We look forward to returning next year for another fantastic event.”
