This year's Soroptimist fundraising Christmas lunch is on December 7

This year’s Soroptimist fundraising Christmas buffet lunch, with mulled wine reception, is at The Greville Arms Hotel on December 7.

In aid of local charities, the event runs from noon to 3.30pm.

Soroptimist International (SI) is a dynamic organisation of women who work to improve the lives of women and girls in communities and throughout the world.

It is a Service organisation – ‘Women at the service of other women and girls’ – inspiring action, transforming lives of women and girls locally and globally through education, empowerment and enabling.

Soroptimists give their time voluntarily to work together on community-based and international projects which will be of long-lasting benefit to women and girls, and thereby for society at large.

Soroptimist International has consultative status at the United Nations and is a recognised non-governmental organisation (NGO) representing women from all over the world.
 
The December 7th fundraising lunch in Mullingar is for local charities and the local Soroptmists appreciate the support of the community and look forward to meeting people then.
