National Lottery remind EuroMillions players in Westmeath to get in touch to claim €500,000 Christmas Day prize!
The National Lottery has again reminded EuroMillions players in Westmeath to keep their tickets safe following a €500,000 EuroMillions Plus win in Mullingar on Christmas Day.
The National Lottery offices reopen tomorrow (Friday December 28) when arrangements can be made for the player (s) to collect their prize.
The golden Quick Pick ticket was bought in Cards ‘n Things in the Harbour Place Shopping Centre in Mullingar on December 23, making this the 28th winner of the EuroMillions Plus top prize of €500,000 in 2018.
Owner of Cards ‘n Things, Tim Crooks, said: “We are delighted to have sold this winning ticket and for whoever the winner may be!
“There is a possibility this was bought as a gift and we can’t think of a more perfect one at this time of year.
“Congratulations to them and we hope they enjoy.”
A National Lottery spokesperson said: “What fantastic news for one of our players at Christmas.
“We are thrilled and urge our players, especially in Westmeath, to check their tickets to see if they have won this fantastic prize.
“If you are the winner, keep that ticket safe until you can contact us after the Christmas break.
“Our claims office is open for business again this Friday (Dec 28) and we look forward to hearing from the winner and guiding them through the claims process.
“Our prize claims team can be contacted on 01-836 4444 and they will make arrangements for the lucky winner to collect their prize.”
The wining EuroMillions Plus numbers are: 3, 6, 23, 36 and 44.”
This year 28 people won €500,000 in EuroMillions Plus.
There was one EuroMillions jackpot winner this year – a syndicate from Thurlesm who won €17 million between them.
The EuroMillions jackpot was not won last night so this Friday’s EuroMillions jackpot is worth €120 million, one of the highest rolls in some time.
