Mullingar Athletic to host national U13/U15 deciders

Mullingar Athletic AFC are delighted to be again selected to host the U13 and U15 SFAI Subway National Plate and Championship Finals on Saturday February 23 and Sunday February 25.

Club Secretary Paul Murray said: “This is the second year the SFAI have held the national finals in Gainstown, following last year’s finals which were held in February and May.

“Everyone at Mullingar Athletic AFC are very much looking forward to again welcoming the SFAI, main sponsors Subway, the players, coaches and their supporters for what I’m sure will be a fantastic two days of soccer in Mullingar.”

The schedule of games is as follows:
Saturday February 23 
U15 SFAI Subway Plate National Final, North Tipperary v Carlow, 12.30pm
U13 SFAI Subway Plate National Final, Midlands v South Tipperary, 3pm
U13 SFAI Subway Plate National Final, Midlands SL v South Tipperary, 3pm

Sunday February 24
U13 SFAI Subway Championship National Final: Mayo v Cavan/Monaghan, 12.30pm
U15 SFAI Subway Championship National Final: DDSL v Waterford, 3pm
