Mullingar gardaí make arrests in relation to human trafficking, money laundering and prostitution

Gardaí at Mullingar investigating human trafficking, money laundering and prostitution have arrested two females. 

In a Garda operation this morning, Sunday April 14, two premises were searched in the Mullingar area. 

Two females were arrested (42 years and 29 years) in connection with the investigation and are detained at Mullingar Garda Station under the provisions of Section 50- Criminal Justice Act 2007. 

Investigations are continuing.
