New ‘Call and Collect’ service at Westmeath libraries

Westmeath Libraries are introducing a Call and Collect Service from Mullingar, Athlone, Moate and Castlepollard Libraries.

This starts on June 8, in line with the government’s roadmap to re-open the country.

Library buildings will remain closed to public access during this initial phase.

All readers need to do is contact Westmeath Libraries by phone on 044 933 2162 or email library@westmeathcoco.ie and let staff know what your reading interests are.

They will then make a selection for you.

You will be allocated a collection time to pick up your books, audiobooks, or DVDs from a designated area at the library entrance.

Remember to bring your own bag, and remember to maintain social distance and stay safe.

If you are cocooning and unable to call in to the library, please let staff know and they will work with volunteers and Westmeath Community Development to arrange delivery of your items to your home.

There are no fines or fees to access the library service, and the Library Online service is also available with ebooks, eaudiobooks, digital magazines and newspapers, as well as online learning.
