Over 600 lots to go under the hammer at Usher Auctions
The team at Usher Auctions in Kells, County Meath, is delighted to announce a return to the saleroom next Monday, July 13.
A fine art, antiques and collectables sale, which was scheduled last April, will now take place on Monday at 5pm. It will feature over 600 lots recovered from clearances at two private Dublin and Meath properties.
Some alterations have been put in place for the sale to facilitate COVID-19 regulations.
Extended viewing
Extended viewing will take place in the auction rooms with visitor numbers monitored and social distancing measures in place. There will be a one-way viewing system around the auction rooms with patrons being asked to mark their catalogues as they move through the building.
Auctioneer Oliver Usher is keen to continue holding live auctions and to keep the buzz of the saleroom so, to facilitate this, the viewing times at the auction rooms will be extended.
Viewing is this Thursday and Friday, July 9-10, from 10am-5pm; on Saturday, July 11, from 12 noon to 5pm; on Sunday, July 12, 2-6pm; and on the day of sale (Monday) from 10am-4pm. There will be no access to the auction rooms outside of these times.
The live auction will take place a few doors down the street at the Headfort Arms Hotel. Photos of each lot will be projected on screen during the sale, with limited capacity and socially distant seating in the sales room.
Bidders are encouraged to avail of the extended viewing times at the auction rooms and to have their catalogues marked, as viewing will not be permitted during the sale. Bidders are also encouraged to submit absentee bid forms or to email their bids to the auctioneer before the day of sale. Limited phone bids will also be accepted.
