Showery start to the day

There will be outbreaks of rain this morning, heavy at times. The rain will clear northwards during the afternoon with drier weather following from the south and some sunny intervals developing. Warm and humid with highest temperatures of 18 to 21 degrees, and moderate to fresh southerly winds.

The latest weather forecast from Met Éireann says tonight will be main dry with some clear intervals. Rain will develop in the west of the region overnight. It will be very mild with temperatures no lower than 13 to 15 degrees and moderate to fresh south to southeast breezes.
