Breaking: Garda operation ongoing in Mullingar

A search continues this morning following a planned raid of a house Mullingar town.

Multiple units of the garda armed response unit converged on the house at around 9 o'clock last night, Monday November 2.

Two people were subsequently arrested and brought to Mullingar Garda Station for questioning.

A search of the property continues this morning, and the garda forensics unit are at the scene.
