Items from estate of Mullingar collector among 700 lots for auction

Items from the estate of a recently deceased Mullingar collector are among 700 lots to go up for auction this Sunday.

Matthews of Kells are conducting what they describe as “an interesting auction comprising jewellery, gold coins, old silver, wristwatches and other collectables”.

The items have been gathered from various clients, including a recently deceased Mullingar collector, the Part II dispersal of a private collection of jewels entered by a Dublin lady and a single-owner collection of 28 pure gold coins.

The auction commences live at 2pm on the auctioneer’s website www.matthewsauctionrooms.com, where the illustrated catalogue can also be viewed.

After the auction all lots will be packed in-house by the auctioneers and posted promptly, tracked and insured, to all successful bidders. This service is being offered at cost by the auctioneers, minimum charge €10, maximum charge €30.
