Local woman on 'Eating with the Enemy'
One of the hottest things to watch on tv right now is Virgin Media One's 'Eating With The Enemy' and this Wednesday night sees the turn of local lady Catriona Ni Dhuill in the spotlight.
Narrated by Pauline McLynn, Eating With The Enemy invites strangers with opposing viewpoints to sit down and have a real life conversation, to see if face-to-face communication produces any common ground.
Mullingar's Catriona, a greyhound trainer, sits down opposite animal rights activist Amanda Large who owns seven rescued Shih Tzu - what could possibly go wrong! Will the two clash over animals being used for entertainment, or bond over their shared love of their canine friends?
Also on this week's episode, two different generations of the Travelling community discuss whether traditional Traveller values are still relevant today, an ex-Miss Ireland debates the value of social media influencers and a cancer survivor champions the dying with dignity bill with a diner who is completely opposed to it.
- Eating With The Enemy airs on Virgin Media One on Wednesday March 24 at 9pm.
