Covid vaccination centre at Bloomfield not open yet

The Covid vaccination centre at Bloomfield House Hotel has not yet opened for public vaccinations, the HSE has confirmed to the Westmeath Examiner.

A spokesperson said that approximately 100 healthcare staff who had already registered for vaccination were vaccinated at the centre on Saturday last.

"The HSE is currently looking at the implications of the updated NIAC (National Immunisation Advisory Committee) recommendations for the vaccine rollout and the implementation of the programme," the HSE spokesperson said.
