A young girl from Mullingar with a passion for horse-riding is the Westmeath representative in a new TG4 series celebrating Cruinniú na nÓg 2021.
Twelve year old Íosa Nic Gabhann is flying the flag for her home county in Cruthaím, a TG4 online series made in partnership with the Creative Ireland Programme of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.
Cruthaím highlights the talent of young Irish speakers across the country and in Gaeltacht areas and their unique creative processes. One young Irish speaker from each county and a representative from the diaspora of Irish speakers showcase their creativity in the series of videos that are broadcast on Cúla4’s YouTube channel. Young people are given a voice and a unique opportunity to show what creativity is to them.
Íosa loves horse riding and really enjoys developing a relationship with the animals and being involved in their care. In her video, she can be seen riding and taking care of her horse at Mullingar Equestrian Centre.
