Wet weather to continue

TODAY - WEDNESDAY 27TH OCTOBER

A mostly cloudy start with outbreaks of rain in the east of the province and scattered showers further west.

It will brighten up from the west through the afternoon and evening though rain will continue to affect eastern areas.

Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees in moderate to fresh and gusty southwest winds.

TONIGHT

Tonight, further outbreaks of showery rain will feed up from the south, heaviest and most persistent across the east of the province. Drier and clearer intervals will occur at times elsewhere.

Temperatures generally not falling below 9 to 13 degrees, coolest in the west.

Some mist and fog patches will develop in light to moderate southerly winds, but winds continuing fresher in the east.

TOMORROW - THURSDAY 28TH OCTOBER

Tomorrow, the heavy rain in the east will clear during the morning. However, further showers or spells of rain will to push up from the southwest during the day with a risk of isolated thunderstorms.

But sunny spells will break through later in the morning and for the afternoon.

Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees in light to moderate south to southwest breezes.
