Ballynacargy farm makes over €700,000

Murtagh Bros Auctioneers held an online auction for a property at Conlonstown, Ballynacargy, on Thursday November 25. A c.81 acre residential farm, in tidy divisions and with a range of outbuildings, it drew a lot of interest ahead of the sale, and on the day there was a competitive auction featuring a number of committed bidders. The auction, conducted by Dillon Murtagh of Murtagh Bros, offered the property in lots before it was evident that the most interest was for the entire property. The entire opened at €480,000 and went on the market at €670,000, and the hammer fell after achieving a sale figure of €704,000.
