Further information requested on plans for private members card club above Daly's

Westmeath County Council's planning department has requested further information from the people behind Daly's pub regarding their plans to open a private members card club above the popular Oliver Plunkett Street venue.

The application from Total Future Limited, includes details for the change of use of existing disused first floor retail storage area to the rear of 2-4 Oliver Plunkett Street, the building that houses Daly's.

According to the agent's cover letter that accompanied the planning application, if given the green light the private members cards club would open from 9pm to 4am four days a week “primarily at the weekend”.
