St Cremin’s NS pupils mark Feast of St Brigid at Abbey Blooms

Pupils from St Cremin’s NS were treated to a demonstration of the craft of making St Brigid’s crosses today, the Feast of St Brigid, in Abbey Blooms, Multyfarnham.

The former principal of St Brigid’s School, Mullingar, Bob Keating, along with, Orla Herrity Roche, Nua Day Services manager, and instructor, Orla Keating, insured that pupils crafted their own personal crosses, while they were regaled with a captivating account in Gaelge agus English of facts and fiction about the revered St Brigid.
