Irish Distillers seeking locals for its Jameson International Graduate Programme
Irish Distillers is looking for Westmeath graduates to join the 2022/23 Jameson International Graduate Programme.
In a press release, the firm said that the programme, which is in its thirtieth year, "empowers graduates from all backgrounds to shape their future by providing them with the tools and opportunity to realise their personal and professional goals, as part of a global community".
Jameson says that it is looking for "creative, innovative, self-starters with an entrepreneurial mindset" to follow in the footsteps of Eoin Weir from Mullingar who is working as a Jameson Brand Ambassador in India.
Eoin, who is currently a Jameson Brand Ambassador in Mumbai said: “After doing some research about the programme, I discovered it was one of the top ranked graduate programmes in Ireland and I decided to apply. My favourite thing about the programme is the level of responsibility you are given. You can really make the role your own, focusing on areas where you can genuinely add value to the company, while learning new skills.”
Over 400 graduates have participated in the Jameson International Graduate Programme since it was established in 1991 and the programme has been recognised as most popular FMCG Graduate Employer for eight consecutive years through the gradireland Graduate Employer Survey.
The 2022/23 intake of graduates will have the opportunity to work with Jameson, one of the Top 5 International whiskey brands in the world, in one of over 35 international markets.
The Jameson International Graduate Programme accepts applicants from all disciplines, so a marketing or business background is not essential. The programme’s four-week induction programme covers all bases, ensuring that graduates are equipped with the knowledge, skills and tools they need to hit the ground running post-induction.
