Life and Body&Soul festivals returning this summer
The Body&Soul festival in Clonmellon and Life festival in Belvedere House and Gardens are set to return this summer.
Two of the most popular music festivals in the country, the events didn't go ahead in 2020 and 2021 due to Covid-19. However, with almost all restrictions lifted both festivals are going ahead this year.
According to a public notice from the people behind Body&Soul in this week's Westmeath Examiner , this year's event is scheduled to take place on the weekend of June 17-19.
On the festival website, its organisers said that this year's event is “is all about shaking things up”.
“After two years where our live wings have been clipped, we’re doing things differently next year. Expect some seriously fancy bits, some old-school bits, some experimental bits, some blow-your-mind bits and some quieter, live-in-the-moment bits. Throughout it all, our focus will be on the experience.”
Also returning this summer is Life dance music festival, which is being held at Belvedere House and Gardens in the last weekend of May.
The headliners for this year's event are Camelphat, Nina Kraviz and Sonny Fodera.
