GAA clubs granted planning for new facilities at their grounds

Two local GAA clubs have been granted planning permission for new facilities at their grounds.

Delvin GAA Club has given the go-ahead by Westmeath County Council for an all-weather AstroTurf sports pitch and a 36m ball wall.

The successful application also includes details for a five-metre security fence around the perimeter of the proposed all-weather pitch, and six floodlights.

Coralstown Kinnegad GAA Club has been granted planning permission for a single-storey sports unit with an open gym, an activity area and a toilet facility.
