Women In Business: Teresa and Grace O'Sullivan - O’Sullivan Menswear

Lenzie O’Sullivan established L O’Sullivan Boys and Menswear in 1962, and over the last 38 years Teresa O’Sullivan has been both the face of and the leader of this thriving business. In 2021 Grace O’Sullivan stepped up to that role.

On this International Women’s Day, the theme is ‘breaking the bias’. It is about a world free of stereotypes. Grace said: "I have an amazing mentor in Teresa, she understands the business through and through and is generous with her knowledge and expertise. While working in a male dominant environment, Teresa has broken that mound and succeeded."

"When women support each other, incredible things happen."

O’Sullivan Menswear have a reputation of delivering exceptional quality boys and menswear with a personalised service, care and advice to all customers. They cater for wedding suits, Communion and Confirmation wear and mens suits.

Menswear fashion trends can fade as fast as they come about, but many have stood the test of time and remain fashion staples. Items such as polo shirts, introduced in the 1950s, are still a solid fixture in a business casual wardrobe. Floral print shirts, introduced in the 1960s, remain both formal and casual attire. Flannel shirts, paired with white T-shirt were a grunge staple in the 1990s.

At O’Sullivan’s Menswear we have been at the helm throughout many of these fashion trends and we look forward to continuing to style the men and boys of the midlands and beyond for many more years to come.
