Oldcastle artist raising money for the Irish cancer Society
An Oldcastle artist is raising funds for people affected by cancer, by donating all of the profits of her new fine art print 'Dancing Daffodils' to the Irish Cancer Society.
Kim Gaffney will donate all of the profits made from the 100 limited edition prints available to the charity.
Kim said: “I am asking people to purchase this fine art print for themselves or as gift and this money will also help support people with cancer and their loved ones, who need our support now more than ever.
“I was motivated to raise much needed funds for cancer patients because we all know someone who has cancer, we all miss someone who had cancer, and so much support is needed when a person receives a cancer diagnosis.

“The Irish Cancer Society relies on the generosity of the public to provide cancer support and services, including their Cancer Support Line, hospital-based Daffodil Centres, and their Night Nursing service which provides end of life cancer care for people in their homes.
The Irish Cancer Society’s Night Nursing service has received more requests for assistance than ever during this period.
Their Volunteer Driver Service has continued to transport cancer patients to and from their chemotherapy sessions, and contacts to their dedicated Cancer Support Line from patients, survivors & family members seeking support and advice, increased by almost two-thirds during this period compared to pre-Covid levels.
