Daffodil Day in Tyrrellspass

Caroline Gonoud, Tyrrellspass, has been fundraising for the Irish Cancer Society through Daffodil Day for 35 years. Caroline is on the left with Evelyn, Patricia, Liz and Yvonne, showing their support.

She grows so many daffodils for the day and locals are always on hand to donate flowers from their own gardens too.

Caroline received a commemorative pin from the Irish Cancer Society in respect of her service, which she was delighted to receive.
