St Patrick's Day parade in Loughnavalley a big hit
There was a large turnout at the St Patrick's Day parade and tractor run in Loughnavalley.
Led by local man Thomas Heduan in his vintage Porsche vintage tractor, the parade featured ponies, families, horse and traps, tractors, motorbikes and vintage vehicles.
Organised by Kevin and Maryanne Keena, the parade left the village and headed towards Glencarrow and past the Uisneach Inn, advancing on by the Hill of Uisneach, before arriving back in the village, where people enjoyed food and drinks.
The organisers wish to thank everyone who supported and helped on the day, including Sinead for her promotional work. Thanks to Jimmy and staff, also.
Such was the success of this year's event that it has already been confirmed that a bigger and better parade will be held next year.
