No capacity for additional seating at Mullingar library

There is no capacity for additional seating at Mullingar library.

At the March meeting of the Municipal District of Mullingar Kinnegad, Cllr Aoife Davitt requested that additional seating be installed at the library.

Responding to her query, the local authority said that seating levels at the library have been restored to pre-Covid levels and that there was no additional space to install further seating.

Mayor Davitt was happy things were back to normal: "The work that has been done in the library has been fantastic. And I know that the students have been very complimentary of that, but that they just wanted to know if it was possible to have the seating come back in."
