Harry’s Kinnegad back open again
Harry’s of Kinnegad has re-opened after two years closed and a Mullingar couple are at the helm. Debbie Kudrycka and her husband Pawel have leased the bar and restaurant of Harry’s, and are now open for business.
The bar and restaurant have not been open for two years due to the Covid-19 restrictions on the hospitality industry.
The couple, living in Enniscoffey, Mullingar, have taken on the project and plan to bring vibrancy back to the premises.
“There’s not much trade in the bar at the moment, so we are going to wait and see what the take-up is, we want to get people in for food and we will have to get in music as well to bring people in,” Debbie said.
Pawel Kudrycki, originally from Poland and living in Westmeath for more than a decade, has taken on the job as head chef. They had trad music for the opening night and Debbie’s mother and son, Mary and Cian O’Reilly, were among the musicians.
