Crash on B'duff-Granard road sees woman seriously injured
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
A woman is in a critical condition after a serious road crash yesterday morning.
The incident, which took place on the Ballyjamseduff to Granard Road, involved a car and a lorry.
The crash happened at around 10.30am in the Rathcronan area of Granard.
The driver of the car, a woman aged in her early 40s, was removed by air ambulance to Tallaght University Hospital where her condition is described as critical. Both passengers were taken to Cavan General Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The male driver of the lorry was uninjured. He's understood to be in his late 20s.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have information in relation to this crash to contact them.
Any person who may have observed the collision is asked to contact investigating Gardaí in Granard.
Any road users who were travelling in the Granard area yesterday between 10.15am and 10.45am, and who may have camera or dash cam footage, is asked to make this available to Gardaí.
