Keena scores again but Sligo go down to Shams in Tallaght
Aidan Keena was on the score-sheet for Sligo Rovers last night in their 3-1 defeat away to champions Shamrock Rovers.
The Mullingar striker scored his sixth league goal of the season in the 82nd minute after coming on as a sub 20 minutes earlier. However, it was a mere consolation goal for the team from the north west as Shamrock Rovers were already three-nil up at that stage thanks to a second half hat-trick from Graham Burke.
Last night's defeat in Tallaght was Sligo's second in Dublin in less than a week. On Friday evening they went down 2-1 to Shelbourne in Tolka Park.
Sligo currently lie fifth in the table on 20 points after 15 games.
