Aonghus Clarke and Jamie Gonoud have been named on the hurling and football teams of the week.

Westmeath's senior footballers may have exited the Leinster championship when they were defeated by Kildare in Croke Park on Sunday, but Jamie Gonoud's goal scoring performance was rewarded with a place on the football team of the week.
In the draw for inaugural Tailteann Cup yesterday morning, Westmeath were drawn away to Laois in the quarter final of the Southern section of the competition. The match is scheduled to be played on the weekend of May 28/29.
