Ballymore Thursday Club a hive of activity
Ballymore Thursday Club is a hive of activity this month, The ladies had a recent two-night trip to Westport and stayed in the Castlecourt Hotel. During their stay, they took a trip to Achill Island, a cruise around Clew Bay and let their hair down with music and dancing in the evenings.
They also organised a day trip last Thursday to Dublin to take a guided tour around the Dáil. Peter Burke’s office assisted the arrangement of the trip, and the Mullingar Garda Community Bus provided the transport.
The tour was interesting and the day was made more enjoyable by the fine sunshine.
