Open day planned for Mullingar Garda Station

The gardaí at Mullingar Garda Station are having an open day to take place on Saturday July 2, from 11am to 3pm (sensory hour 11am to midday).

A number of local and national units such as dog unit, water unit, air support and mounted unit will be in attendance.

There will be refreshments including an ice cream van and tea/coffee available, plus face painting for the younger visitors.

There will also be vintage garda cars and memorabilia to see as An Garda Síochána celebrate their centenary.

All welcome to attend – but bear in mind that some of the above is subject to the weather or operational commitments.
