A message from Con, Joan and Conor Gilsenan

Con and Joan Gilsenan have sold Con's Pub and they have released this message to the people of Mullingar today.

THANK YOU

It has been an amazing 39 years in Con’s and we would like to thank our brilliant team, our loyal customers, friends, suppliers, tradespeople, fellow publicans and neighbours for their friendship and support.

It has been an absolute pleasure to have looked after each and every one of our customers, and we leave with a life’s worth of memories.

We remember with fondness the parties, the gatherings, the rugby, and our regular lunch clientele, to name but a few.

It is now time for a younger generation with exciting ideas and energies to take Con's forward and to continue to serve the people of Mullingar and we wish Alan Clancy (another good Westmeath man) and his team every possible success for the future.

As long established funeral directors in the town, we will of course continue to serve and support the people of Mullingar.

It’s been an incredible four decades with you all, thanks for the memories!
