Mullingar Chamber awards to celebrate businesses that have 'survived and thrived'
Mullingar Chamber have decided to celebrate those survived and thrived throughout the pandemic, and have launched the Mullingar Chamber Business Awards.
The awards 2022 offer businesses, community groups and individuals operating in the Mullingar Kinnegad Municipal District the opportunity to be acknowledged for their success.
There are 11 awards on offer
• Outstanding SME of the Year (1 - 50 employees)
• Outstanding Large Business of the Year (Over 50 employees)
• Best Online Presence and social media
• Excellence in Retail
• Excellence in Sustainability & Climate Action
• Best in Hospitality
• Excellence in Tourism
• Start Up/Emerging New Business of the Year
• Spirit of Mullingar Kinnegad Municipal District Award
• Community Group of the Year
• Volunteer of the Year
Nominations are open to all registered businesses, community groups and individuals operating in the Municipal District of Mullingar Kinnegad (members ad non-members).
The closing date for nominations is Friday September 9, and the finalists for each category will be announced on September 16. The winners will be announced at the Spotlight Gala Dinner in November. Further details will be confirmed closer to the date.

The awards offer an opportunity to businesses across the region to gain publicity for their entrepreneurial efforts and excellence in their field.
Provided applicants meet the criteria set out in the award description on the Mullingar Chamber website, they can be entered in several categories. Membership of the chamber is not a prerequisite to entry, and membership is not a consideration of the judging panel, to ensure the integrity of the competition and that the best business entry wins each award.
The independent judging panel will be announced in the coming weeks.
