Vote for Fluffy in Nose of Tralee competition
Fluffy is a 10-year-old Bichon Frise from Mullingar and she is representing her county in the Pet Sitters Ireland Nose of Tralee competition.
Pet Sitters Ireland are Ireland’s largest pet sitting and dog walking company and have been hosting the Nose of Tralee competition for nine years.
The competition aims to seek out the cutest, funniest and most adorable pet in the country.
There are 32 finalists in the competition, one from each county, including Fluffy IN Westmeath.
Fluffy’s owner, Paula Glennon said: "I decided to enter Fluffy in the competition when I saw it advertised on Facebook.
"She was in the competition last year and reached the semi-finals, so I decided to give her another shot. I had to submit a photo of her and I told them we are representing Westmeath.
"We waited for the public vote to decide who was in the semi-finals, to my delight she got into the semis again."
Paula is encouraging everyone to vote for Fluffy so that she will be crowned the 2022 Nose of Tralee.
Voting is open from August 3 until August 22 when the winner will be chosen. It is free to vote and each person has one vote per day.
"I need everyone in Westmeath to vote every day so Fluffy can bring the crown home to her lovely county."
When voting opens on August 3, you can vote for Fluffy on the Pet Sitters website. (At the time of writing (Monday August 1), voting was not open.)
