Crowds building in Mullingar throughout Day 7 of the Fleadh

Throughout the afternoon the number of people in Mullingar has grown as revellers take to the streets and bars to hear the finest traditional musicians in the country and to have a bit of craic.

In the earlier part of the day, there was huge excitement in the town when local superstar Niall Horan made an appearance with his good friend Lewis Capaldi and reportedly performed a few tunes in Clarke's.

Pubs and hotels are doing a roaring trade and the centre of Mullingar is a hive of activity with the number of the people on the streets growing with each hour.
