Milltownpass Family Fun Day this Sunday

It’s all happening this Sunday in Milltownpass as the Local Tidy Towns Group get set to host a free Family Fun Day to celebrate Milltown River on Water Heritage Day.

The event, which kicks off at 12 noon in Milltownpass GAA pitch, will include a whole host of fun activities such as face painting, rodeo bull challenges and inflatables for all ages.

The team from biodiversityinschools.com will host a selection of biodiversity workshops where the kids will learn to make bird feeders from clay, wildflower seed bombs and origami frogs.

The Tidy Towns Committee, along with ecologist Nuala Madigan, will be on hand to share information about the local river with kick sampling demonstrations to determine local water quality.

There will be food trucks, ice cream vans and much much more!
