Mullingar’s baking star hosts book signing this weekend

Una Leonard of 2210 Patisserie bakery officially launched her new book, Sweet Therapy - The Joys of Baking, this week.

To fans' delight, the book shares recipes for all of her bestselling blondies, brownies, cookies and cakes.

Una opened her bakery in 2015 as a talented 18-year-old, but behind her success are real life challenges and mental health struggles.

In the book, Ms Leonard opens up about her battle with depression and how baking gave her a glimpse of hope and the encouragement to keep going.

To celebrate this milestone, she is hosting a book signing at the Bookstation store in Harbour Place Shopping Centre Mullingar this Saturday September 17 from 12 noon.

Una said: “We’re delighted that the book is finally here and it’s great that we’re getting good feedback from it already.”

Una will also make an appearance on The Late Late Show tonight on RTÉ One from 9.35pm.
