Mullingar matchmaker wins bronze at Irish Podcast Awards

A podcast by local relationship guru Mairéad Loughman of Love HQ Mullingar ranked third at the Irish Podcast Awards that took place in Liberty Hall Dublin last night.

Would Like To Meet was shortlisted in the Best Sex and Relationship podcast category back in July and was up against some strong competitors including Daters Gonna Date, The Love Life and Dating Games.

Since launching her dating agency in 2016, Ms Loughman has successfully matched over 7,000 people nationwide.

She started the Would Like To Meet podcast during the first Covid lockdown to lift the spirits of her clients during a time when dating seemed impossible.

Her hard work landed her the title of number one relationship podcast in Ireland and now, she is bringing home bronze at the first ever Irish Podcast Awards.

Ms Loughman took to social media following the announcement last night and said: “I’m absolutely thrilled!

“My podcast came third at the first ever Irish Podcast Awards.”

She went on to thank her dedicated team including Claire Darmody of Prestige Media and Shane Dempsey of Collaborative Studios Dublin.

The Would Like To Meet podcast is available to listen to on all podcast streaming platforms including Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
