Publican families unite!

The wedding took place last Thursday of Meath county councillor, Mike Bray of Fordstown, and Maureen Farrell, of Higginstown, Athboy.

The wedding was celebrated by Fr Padraig McMahon, PP, Athboy, at the Church of St Lawrence, Rathmore, followed by a reception at Tankardstown House, Rathkenny.

The church music was by Annie Galligan with Derek Eakins on keyboard.

Mike, who was elected to Meath County Council in the Kells area in 2019, is a son of Michael and Stephanie Bray, while Maureen is a daughter of Anthony and Jacinta Farrell. Both families are publicans.

Bridesmaids Ruth Shortall and Elaine Fallon and groomsmen Cathal McCabe, Conor Bray and Keith Geoghegan made up the wedding party.
