Road closure at Ballymore and Loughnavalley for bridge works
The road between Ballymore and Loughnavalley is to be closed for almost two weeks in October due to works on Blackmore Bridge.
Triur Construction Ltd are doing the work on behalf of Westmeath County Council and the bridge replacement work is on the R390 regional road at Clonyveey and Maddadoo, Ballymore.
The work starts on Monday next, October 3, and continues till to Sunday October 16.
The R390 will be closed between Ballymore and Loughnavalley for the duration and a signed diversion route will be in place.
Traffic from Athlone will divert via the L1346 and L1120 to Forgney, via the R392 to Skeagh Cross, and the R389 to Loughnavalley and vice versa for traffic from Mullingar. Details are shown on the map.
