Westmeath GAA Tailteann Trail this Sunday

Westmeath's senior footballers are holding a Tailteann Trail relay fundraiser this weekend.

The sponsored relay will start in Athlone, go through Mullingar, and finish in Kinnegad on Sunday, October 23.

The Westmeath senior football team are undertaking the run, along the Old Rail Trail Greenway heading to Mullingar via Mount Temple, Moate, Rosemount, Streamstown, Castletown Geoghegan, and Shandonagh, before switching to the Grand Canal Way and taking in The Downs and Killucan, before finishing in Kinnegad.

Money raised is in support of the victorious Westmeath senior football team who lifted the Tailteann Cup on that memorable July Saturday as they raise money for their end-of-year trip.

Donations can be made via GoFundMe or by sponsoring the players directly.
