Cookery legend visits Clonmellon market

Clonmellon Community Council were delighted to welcome cooking legend, Darina Allen, of the famous Ballymaloe Cookery School, to The Market Clonmellon on Sunday.

Darina’s visit concluded her very busy weekend with the Samhain Festival in Kells, which included the Clonmellon market in its event guide.

She visited all the stalls and paid particular attention to the food vendors, offering tips and advice.

Her visit was a huge boost to The Market Clonmellon, which continues to go from strength to strength and the community council look forward to another visit in the future.

The Clonmellon Christmas Markets are on Sunday November 20 and Sunday December 4, 11am-3pm.
