Local churches to support Vincent de Paul this year

The church leaders in Mullingar announced on Saturday night at the Advent Ecumenical Candlelit Carol Service in All Saints Church that this Christmas, all the churches would be financially supporting St Vincent de Paul in their fine work of helping those in need this Christmas.

Jim Buckley spoke on behalf of the society and said the financial support from the churches would be greatly appreciated, as the number of requests had increased this year due to the cost of living crisis.
