Davitt wants lights at St Brigid's Well

A request that a light be installed at St Brigid’s Well was also made by Cllr Aoife Davitt at the November meeting of the Municipal District of Mullingar Kinnegad.

The written response from the executive stated that the installation of a light at that location would not fall under the district’s remit, but a request could be made of the parish authorities.

Cllr Davitt explained that her concern was for the safety of road users at that location, and the executive agreed to look again.

Auburn Terrace

At the same meeting, Cllr Aoife Davitt asked if surfacing work could be carried out at the rear of the houses at Auburn Terrace.

“I just want to express how important it is. I have put it in for the last three years and it still has not been done: it is in really bad condition,” she stated.

To that, the response was that the work can be considered in the context of the 2023 estimates.
