Clonmellon Tidy Towns calendars feature Killua Castle scenes
For the last four years calendars showing scenes of Killua Castle have been on sale to help raise funds for Clonmellon Tidy Towns.
The photos are taken by Lorena Krause, Willie Forde and now Lorena’s daughter Sarah.
Next year Clonmellon Tidy Towns projects include rebuilding the flower beds around the new signs on the approach roads to the village, which were part of a project for the local community council.
All the stone used for that projects is collected by John Sheridan and the stonemason is Fergus Corrigan, who does great work .
Calendars are on sale at Ann Leonard’s shop. The committee thank all for the great support.
They thank Ceallaigh Ni Bheirnigh for her beautiful donation of a Christmas wreath, which can be see in the Wishing Well from the Kells approach road to the village. Ceallaigh has a wide range of beautiful gifts - find her on Facebook ceallaigh.nibheirnigh and on the Clonmellon buy and sell page.
